Ancient Faience Mummy Bead Necklace Scarab Circa 300 BC DazzleCity used Excellent strand of ancient mummy beads strung onto simple cotton thread - these beads are very fragile and would typically be used for display purposes only and not worn. Excellent eartone colors with the main stone - Scarab - measuring 1 and 1/8 inches long. I believe that the smaller scarabs are original but not the larger - could be but it is in much better condition than the smaller ones. These ancient Eqyptian beads were used to decorate the chest shields placed over a mummy before entombment. They were dyed with a variety of natural vegetables and have amazingly retianed their color thru time. This piece is a one and only measuring an overall length of 30 inches. If you are a fan of egyptian mythology you will appreciate the condition of this set. Emo, Indie, Rocker, Biker, Sports, Hippie, Boho, VLV, Gypsy and collectible items - don't see it? just ask and I'll check backstock not listed yet

Early Brush McCoy Vellum Art Glazed Pottery Vase Weller Green used Very early American Arts and Craft vase - Most likely Brush-McCoy but could be Weller. Unsigned - from my personal collection - I bought this one in the early 70's in New Hampsire at an estate sale. It is not perfect but it is exactly as made. As will alot of early pieces there is a "skip" on the glaze on one side and the picture actually appears larger than it looks on the table. No chips cracks or crazing - very little wear to the bottom. Stores in my china all these years. This one measures jus a bit over 6 inches wide across from thumb to thumb. 5 inches tall.

VICTORIAN 14KT GOLD TOPAZ FILIGREE NECKLACE PENDANT PIN DazzleCity minty I HAVE OWNED THIS PIECE FOR MANY MANY YEARS - I NEVER FAIL TO RECV COMPLIMENTS ON THIS PIECE - JUST THIS WEEK I WAS AT THE MALL BUYING SCHOOL CLOTHES AND A GENTLEMAN WHO WAS WAITING ON US TOLD ME HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS. IT'S A LARGE PIECE - MEASURES 2 INCHES LONG AND 1&3/4 INCHES WIDE. IT HAS A MOST UNUSUAL CUT ON THE UNDERSIDE INDICATIVE OF THE AGE OF THIS PIECE - THE FILIGREE WORK IS IMMACULATE - THERE'S LITTLE TO NO WEAR ON THE PIECE. IT CAN BE WORN EITHER AS A PIN OR A PENDANT WITH THE BAIL ACCOMMODATING EVEN A LARGE OMEGA. THE PENDANT ITSELF WEIGHS 24.9 GRAMS. THERE ARE NO MARKINGS WHATSOEVER WHICH IS FAIRLY COMMON OF VICTORIAN PIECES. I HAVE PHOTOGRAHED THE BACKSIDE SO THAT YOU CAN SEE THE "SLIDE" CLASP. YOU PULL THE CLASP PART OUTWARD - PLACE THE BAR PIN INTO THE BARREL AND THEN SLIDE THE CLASP BACK OVER THE PIN TO LOCK THE PIN IN PLACE - IT'S PRETTY NIFTY. IN THE PICTURES OF THE BACKSIDE YOU WILL SEE ONE CORNER IS SLIGHTLY BENT. I HAVE NOT ATTEMPTED TO UNBEND IT BECAUSE FROM THE FRONT YOU DON'T SEE IT AND I FEEL IT LENDS CHARACTER TO THE ITEM. THE COLOR OF THIS ITEM IS REALLY MORE OF A ROSE GOLD THAN A BRIGHT GOLD WHICH I HOPE IS EASILY REFLECTED IN THE PICTURES - IT WAS VERY HARD FOR ME TO PRICE THIS PIECE - I DID ALOT OF RESEARCH ON IT AND THERE IS VERY VERY LITTLE ON THE INTERNET TO GO BY REFERENCE WISE - I BOUGHT IT AT A GEM SHOW FROM AN OLD PAWN DEALER SO THERE IS NO HISTORY ON THIS ITEM OTHER THAN MY OWN POSSESSION BUT I'D BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO MAKE UP A REALLY COLORFUL ONE FOR YOU IF YOU REALLY NEED ONE! IT IS TRULY A UNIQUE TREASURE - IF YOU NEED ADDITIONAL PICTURES PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO ASK. THERE IS NO CHAIN.

Victorian 1892 Sterling Silver Teaspoon Ornate
Really pretty piece - that scrolling ornate silverwork runs all the way down into the bowl of this one. It measures 5 & 7/8 inches long and weighs 23.5 grams of sterling. I shot more pictures so if you need just email me. I picked up several pieces at an estate sale and had them tucked away - tottally forgot them. Anyway I'll list some others as well so check back and see them all - it's not a regular item for me so when they are gone their gone.

Victorian Purse Frame Whiting Davis Handbag Rhinestone DazzleCity used This was an estate sale find so I have little history. It is marked Whiting and Davis inside the top of the from near the clasp. Hope you can make that out in the picture. There is also what I think is an "S" on the inside of the frame near the hinge. Does that mean sterling? or is it some kind of makers mark? The hinge works perfect. There is one tiny sapphire blue stone pave set into the "knob" of the clasp - on one side only. The chain is pretty cool with 4 sets of double navy blue oval beads - glass in nature. The chain measures 16 inches long. The design on the backside of the frame is pretty cool. The frame measures 3 & 1/2 inches wide on the inside and 1 and 1/2 inches up and down. All the wiring "stuff" is there with some extra hoops hanging from the spirling wire. There is one single stone missing from the frame and I think you can also make that out as well. I could try to replace it but I'm thinking not as I'm afraid to screw it up. I figure you guys know best about these things. I also purchased one other frame and 2 vitorian beaded purses. Generally as I said I don't really dabble in this type of merchandise so I hope I've shot enough pictures and described what you need to know. This item is being sold as is presented here and I make no implications of any kind of warranty. If you need extra photos just use the info link on the home page - provide your email addy and I'll zip you more pictures

Victorian Purse Handbag Beaded Black Mourning ? Jet Old DazzleCity used This was an estate sale find so I have little history. It is black - shinny black almost like hemitite. There's like a million beads and I've looked at it carefully and can find nothing missing. It's not ripped anywhere - no snags that I can see. The inside is faded but there are no tears inside either. Not sure exactly what the material is but I hope you can make it out in the pictures. There is a flower design running completely around the back and front. With the outside fringe down like when your carrying it it measures just a bit over 8 inches long EXCLUDING the bottom loops which measure another 2 inches long. When the bag is open it measures about 6 inches wide laying flat. This piece - me being no expert - was sooo nice I had to buy it. I shot both sides and if I missed something let me know. I also purchased one other frame and 2 vitorian beaded purses. Generally as I said I don't really dabble in this type of merchandise so I hope I've shot enough pictures and described what you need to know. This item is being sold as is presented here and I make no implications of any kind of warranty. (not even sure what that would be - just thought I'd throw that in)

Vintage 1948 Bakelite Bowl Gun Cover Flower Pot Water
So I'm really straying off my path these days aren't I? what is this? It's some kind of gun barrel cover that came off the battleships from the WWII era. I have alot of these and thought I would put some up here. They can be used as center piece bowls for nuts or fruit. How about flowers? Potting plants? The Boy Scouts bought a bunch of them from me to use for camping. Their really pretty cool. And their very heavy. There is that "ridged" design in the bottom so it's not a perfectly smooth finish inside. On the bottom underneath it says "6 in MK 4 MOD lot 20 KF Co. 1948 and then a symbol of an anchor. They measure just a tad over 6 inches wide and 3 & 1/2 inches tall sitting on the table. They are a rich deep brown kinda marble looking. Vintage Pixie Figurine Elf Knome Old Hugger Ceramic DazzleCity used This is a bigger pixie from my private collection - I've loved these little guys but it's time to pass him along to the next generation. The glaze is pristine with the only single paint loss to the lips - everything else was oveglazed. He measures 4 inches across the front legs. He's 3 & 1/2 inches tall sitting on the table. There is age crazing to be expected with a piece this old but no chips or flea bites or dings of any kind. Tiny glaze skip on the front left foot not a chip. I was always pretty picky about my pixies. A nice piece to add to your collection.

Wood & Sons Enoch Old Bow-Blue Sugar Bowl Lid Hard 2 Find DazzleCity used Incredibly hard to find piece - there are no chips - cracks - repairs - ships or dings on this one - it's like it was made yesterday. I picked it up about - geex - maybe 30 years ago at an estate sale in New Hampshire - I thought I'd find a whole set - sure. Not But I still loved the little blue chicadees. I do have some other pieces still in the china - if your interested I'll list them as well. this little pot measures 6 inches across handle to handle. Sitting on the table it's just a tad under 5 inches tall. Opps - just inspected it closer and on the tippy top of the lid there is a rub and I think you can see it in the picture. Also around the know of the lid there is some? crazing? might have been a kiln flaw but doesn't seem to bea glued repair type issue and when flipped over looking at the inside definitely not. I'm thinking kiln flaw. I'm thinking minor since I've had it for over 30 years and never noticed i before but thought I'd better iniclude it. I went to replacements to try to guestimate the replacement cost but they don't even have a picture of one. They did have a picture of a creamer but none in stock so no price there either. If you have this pattern and need this piece - it was well taken care of by me - sitting away in the china cabinet. Needs a loving home.
