Excellent example of fine American Indian craftsmanship - politically correct matching right and left detail on the earrings. The earrings measure 2 & 5/8 inches long excluding the fish hooks and weigh 15.8 grams. The earrings are unmarked. the matching 3 pc necklace weighs 30.5 grams and is marked an is simply marked Sterling and the initials WP which is the way most older antive american made items were marked - simple artist initials. The necklace measures 20 inches long overall. Could use a polish but some prefer their items tat way so I will leave this up to the new owner. the cost on this item is based on the excellent detail, age and quality of a great Native American made item. Beautiful set.

Vintage Snake Earrings Sterling Silver Cobra Eqyptian

Not my best picture but I had a really hard time holding the earrings with one hand and the camera with the other - quit laughing. there's actually great detail in the cobra right donw to the hood and eyes. Their sterling silver - pierced of course - vintage stock from my old egyptian line. They measure 1 inch long - just the front snake upright part. The back wire is a flexible sterling ear wire that you can shape to your specific needs. They came in this "hoop" shape but I turned them into an up and down square shape for my ear. You decide. there's even an etched design on the backside of the cobra head.
