I used a large ornate lampwork bead - it measures 1 and 1/4 inches long - just the bead alone - the larger bead gives you hand a nice grip - swarovski pink rosealine on either end with rhondelle end caps. the entire piece measures just a tad over 2 inches long excluding the chain. I've experimented with these for awhile now and have figured out how to keep the beaded part from coming undone which is a problem fr alo of pulls. American made ball chain is very rugged and made to last. The entire piece measures 10 and 1/2 inches - I leave them long so if you have a higher ceiling they will work for you. If you need it shorter just let me know.

This one was made using genuine mutterscotch amber by the large bead and baltic amber end caps. Large round co-ordinating colored lampwork bead. Swarovski crystal aurora borealis 4mm rhondelles on either end. the beadwork part measures just a tad under 2 inches long and the chain measures 8 to give it an overall length of 10 inches. I used a vintage 16mm Aurora borealis crystal bead - 16mm - (ARTICLE 346) and a vintage 12mm swarovski jet bead for this pull. Swarovski rhondells and a small jet asprin on the bottom - ball chain measures 8 & 1/2 inches long and the pull measures 1 & 3/4 inches long. I have others and can also make a shorter matching chain for the light if you need a matching set.
